Coleman joined Vanke US in 2022 to lead the firm’s Asset Management vertical.
Prior to joining Vanke, Coleman led investments at BedRock Real Estate Partners where he helped the company grow from nascency to over $2 billion in AUM. He also spent several years at MacFarlane Partners focused on urban real estate investing on behalf of several large US pension funds. In addition to well over a decade of real estate investing, fundraising and development experience, Coleman served short stints in impact investing with Imprint Capital in New York and New Island Capital in San Francisco. He began his career in the investment banking division of UBS.
Coleman grew up in the Harlem neighborhood of New York but now lives in Brooklyn with his wife, son, and dog. He received his MBA with honors from Columbia Business School and his BA from Morehouse College. He is irrationally passionate about the NY Knicks, a testament to his eternal optimism.
